Trump files lawsuit against NY Attorney General

Former President Donald Trump has filed a lawsuit against New York Attorney General Letitia James regarding her probe into his business dealings.

The lawsuit was filed in federal court in upstate New York and is asking the judge to intervene and stop the investigation.

The “Times” reports that the “investigation” is centered on one central fact whether Trump defrauded lenders by inflating the value of his assets.”

Trumps lawyers have purported that Letitia James has violated his constitutional rights with this investigation that has been going on for more than two years with nothing to show for it. They also claim this is politically motivated.

According to the “New York Times” Trumps lawyers wrote in the complaint “Her mission is guided solely by political animus and a desire to harass, intimidate, and retaliate against a private citizen who she views as a political opponent.”

James is hoping to question President Trump under oath in January.
