The Russians and Ukraine, is a war eminent?

The United States Embassy has urged Ukraine’s Citizens to leave. The Embassy believes the citizens of Ukraine to be in danger because of increased threat from the Russia’s military actions. Things could get much worse very quickly so it would be best if they evacuated now, has been the message from the state department.

This week US citizens were told they should not travel to Ukraine because of the unpredictable situation increasing volatile situation. President Biden said that they are considering personal sanctions on President Vladimir Putin even though that is rarely ever done. This would give them the message that actions against Ukraine would be costly.

Russia responded by saying “imposing sanctions on Putin personally would not hurt him but would be politically destructive”. They have put thousands of troops near their border with Ukraine, but they have denied any planes to attack.
