The Daily Briefs Subscription and Renewal Terms; Refund & Cancellation Policies
General Information
This section applies to your use of www.thedailybrieftdb.com and its associated webpages (collectively, “The Daily Brief”). Some of the features of The Daily Brief are available without a paid subscription; however, Many features and content require a paid subscription. When you purchase a subscription, you agree to pay the applicable subscription fee, as well as any applicable taxes and renewal fees as described more fully below. If we are unable to charge your credit card or other payment method, your subscription will automatically terminate.
We may increase the price of The Daily Brief subscriptions at any time, however, we will give you at least thirty (30) days advance notice of any price increase. This advance notice will give you an opportunity to cancel your subscription before the price increase goes into effect. If you do not cancel your subscription before the price increase goes into effect, you will be deemed to have agreed to the price increase.
If you subscribe to The Daily Brief, you agree to keep your contact information (i.e. address, email address, phone number) and payment information up-to-date at all times.
Cancellation Process
You may cancel by (a) accessing your account online at www.thedailybrieftdb.com and navigating to “Account”, or by (b) sending an email to thedailybrief100@gmail.com specifying the email address used for the account and clearly indicating that you want to cancel.
Subscription Types
Reader’s Pass
The Reader’s Pass provides you ad-free access to The Daily Brief’s website. You may still receive notices of internal promotions, recommended content and bulletins that enhance the user experience. We do not make any guarantees as to the posting or availability of any content. The Reader’s Pass will automatically renew monthly or yearly depending on the subscription selection you have chosen. After the first month or year your subscription will automatically renew every month or year around the same date as the purchase date. You must cancel your subscription before the renewal date to prevent the next charge to your credit card or other payment method. We may also choose, in our sole discretion, not to renew your subscription.
You may cancel your Reader’s Pass at any time by following the cancellation process above. If you cancel your Reader’s Pass within the first 14 days of the initial subscription period, you may request a full refund at that time by contacting customer service. If you cancel your Reader’s Pass any time after the first 14 days of the initial subscription period, you will not receive any refund, but your access will continue until the end of the current subscription period. Except as noted in this paragraph, all charges for the Reader’s Pass are nonrefundable.
Partner Pass
The Partner Subscription provides you ad-free access to The Daily Briefs site and supports Our podcasts. You may still receive notices of internal promotions, recommended content and bulletins that enhance the user experience. We do not make any guarantees as to the posting or availability of any content or the number of podcasts that will be produced in any period of time. The Partner Subscription will automatically renew every month or year around the same day as the purchase date. You must cancel your subscription before the renewal date to prevent the next charge to your credit card or other payment method. We may also choose, in our sole discretion, not to renew your subscription.
You may cancel your partner Subscription at any time by following the cancellation process above. If you cancel your partner Subscription within the first 14 days of the initial subscription period, you may request a full refund at that time by contacting customer service. Although you will not receive Daily Brief tumbler. You must wait a minimum of 2 months in order to receive your Daily Brief Tumbler. If you cancel your Partner Subscription any time after the first 14 days of the initial subscription period, you will not receive any refund, but your access will continue until the end of the current subscription period. Except as noted in this paragraph, all charges for the Partner Subscription are nonrefundable.
Patriot Partner Pass
The Patriot Partner Pass Subscription provides you ad-free access to Daily Brief’s website and your emails answered and or read on selected podcasts. You may still receive notices of internal promotions, recommended content and bulletins that enhance the user experience. We do not make any guarantees as to the posting or availability of any content or the number of podcasts that will be produced in any period of time. The Patriot Partner Pass Subscription will automatically renew every year around the same date as the purchase date. You must cancel your subscription before the renewal date to prevent the next charge to your credit card or other payment method. We may also choose, in our sole discretion, not to renew your subscription.
You may cancel your Patriot Partner Pass Subscription at any time by following the cancellation process above. If you cancel your Patriot Partner Pass Subscription within the first 14 days of the initial subscription period, you may request a full refund at that time by contacting customer service. If you choose to do so you will not receive The Daily Brief mug or laser embossed pen. If you cancel your Patriot Partner Pass Subscription any time after the first 14 days of the initial subscription period, you will not receive any refund, but your access will continue until the end of the current subscription period. Except as noted in this paragraph, all charges for the Patriot Partner Pass Subscription are nonrefundable.
Subscriptions with item(s)/gift(s)
Any subscription plan in which you receive an item (i.e. gift) as a token of our appreciation for signing up you must have the membership for a minimum of 2 months before receiving your welcome gift. If the plan is only billed annually or you elect to have it billed annually and you do not cancel within the refund period you do not have to wait 2 months to receive the gift. Otherwise, cancelation of any plan before two months that is elected to be paid monthly and after the full refund time period (14 days) any said subscription before that time you are no longer eligible for the welcome gift or gifts. If you cancel after that period you will not receive a refund but you will still receive the welcome gift or gifts.
