HUMAN TRAFFICKING THE BATTLE FOR AWARENESS

Let’s start with some facts. Human trafficking is a $150 billion dollar industry. In my opinion it’s sick that it’s even called an industry but unfortunately there are a lot of people out there that love pedophilia. They love to prey on children and adults. They use them, hurt them and kill them for the mighty dollar, lusts of the flesh and power.

We have so much going on in this world. A viral pandemic that has been politicized to the hilt? Hate and division among people in our nation and the world. Riots that have been promoted by the radicals as well as political power grabs. Abortions are being done in greater capacities and up to birth. The general lawlessness, lack of respect for God, children, law, people and life in general.

Unfortunately in the midst of all that children are being exploited in every way including sex trafficking. These people want their sick desires satisfied, money and power and they don’t care who they hurt or kill to get it.

Southwest Wisconsin is one of the many hubs for this industry but it is happening everywhere. Parents and people in general need to be educated and know the signs. At all times be aware of your surroundings ready to defend yourself or protect the children.

Human trafficking is increasing, especially online. So many more children have been online because of Covid, it makes things more difficult. Seventy six percent of transactions for sex with minor females starts online. However, boys are recruited as well.

These pedophiles know how to manipulate and prey on vulnerable children and adults. perpetrators are smart and know how to coax children to reach their objective. Some use online gaming a lot with boys and other coaxing with girls. Traffickers get these children to share personal things and then manipulate them with guilt to get them to do more. They find their vulnerability and use them to their advantage.

We need to talk to our children and they need to know they can come to us with anything. You see, these people count on parents being either non-caring or to busy to build relationship with their children. After that they are able to go in and build relationship, trust, etc., because that’s what children want.They want to be heard and know they are important. Every thirty seconds another person becomes a victim of human trafficking. That is absolutely unacceptable.

We need to teach our children and grandchildren not to communicate with people they don’t know. Let them know if anyone they know is inappropriate with them they can come to us. Our children and grandchildren are our biggest blessing from God! We need to love them, teach them and protect them like the precious gift they are. People, open your eyes and see what’s going on. Do not look to fake news for answers because you will not find them. I think you will see they are part of the problem.
